eLicenser is a license-management and copy-protection technology used by many software companies. Here end-users are provided with the current and previous versions of the eLicenser Control (eLC) to ensure the reliability of eLicenser-protected software.
The eLicenser Control Center (eLCC) application is a completely revised version of the License Control Center (LCC) application and fully compatible with all eLicenser-protected software. And although the eLCC may be the most obvious part, the eLC software package also includes the latest eLicenser drivers and license database.
Taking customer feedback and user feedback into account, the eLCC application’s design has been improved significantly. Moreover, the eLCC provides new features, has scored a performance boost and is easier to use than its LCC predecessor.
The video shows the new features and enhancements found in the eLCC, such as managing licenses or assisting support departments to identify problems.

The ViennaKey

The ViennaKey is the eLicenser USB key which holds the license for your registered collections.

Instead of the ViennaKey, you can also use another eLicenser (e.g., USB keys by Steinberg or Arturia) to store your license(s).

The eLicenser Control Center manages your licenses. Please make sure that you are using the latest version, available at www.elicenser.net.

Remember that you need a ViennaKey (or a Steinberg or Arturia eLicenser, formerly Syncrosoft) to store your licenses on. You should register your key with us, so that you are safe in case of damage (the first 6 or 7 digits of the key are important, as shown on the screenshot below).

Downloading your license is simple: Make sure your ViennaKey is inserted, launch eLicenser Control Center, click on Enter Activation Code and paste your Activation Code into the respective field (you can paste the whole code into the first field). You will be guided through the rest of the procedure. An Internet connection has to be available for this process.

You can of course download your license on any Internet computer, in case your music computer is not connected to the Internet.

If your license download was interrupted for any reason, please click Maintenance (in the upper right corner) – this will complete your license download automatically!

Remember that you will need the sample content and the license of your Synchron Series products as well as the latest Synchron Player Software installed alongside with a ViennaKey on your computer(s)!

Registration

With Activation Codes

Note

You will download and install your sample content with the Vienna Download Manager.
All the latest software for your registered products will be available at MyVSL.

In case you have received a confirmation e-mail with Activation Codes, your purchased products are already registered and assigned to your account (your products were registered at purchase online or in your music-store).

You don't need to register any Serial Numbers! Simply connect your USB eLicenser to your computer and click on the Activation Code(s) you have received with your confirmation e-mail.

With Serial Number

You have received a Serial Number from your dealer. In this case, please register this Serial Number in MyVSL. You will see your Activation Code immediately; an e-mail containing this code will be sent to you as a backup.

If you haven’t done so already, please use these Activation Codes to download your license(s) as described in the chapter eLicenser Control Center below. You need an internet access to download your license(s).

Installed Files

The latest version of Vienna Ensemble Pro is available in MyVSL.

Important

To use Epic Orchestra 2.0, you need to install not only Vienna Ensemble Pro, but also the Vienna Synchron Player Software.

Once installed, the new Vienna Ensemble Pro folder will appear in your programs/applications.

OS X:

Uninstall Vienna Ensemble Pro: Helpful if you want to roll back to an earlier version.

Vienna Ensemble Pro: Stand-alone 64-bit software.

Vienna Ensemble Pro Server: Connect to this 64-bit server from within your sequencer (see next page). This is the key element when you are working over network.
