Some auto aiming software also incluse something that is generally called a “triggerbot” that will automatically trigger or shoot the opponent once the aim is locked to it. So with other words aimbots are pretty much the most overpowered kind of cheat in most shooters that do not rely too heavily on client-side processing. In Left 4 Dead 2 specifically auto aim can be quite useful in the higher difficulty levels (Realism Campaign ect) where weapons, ammo, pills and other pickups are incredibly rare and you really need to make every shot and hit count. In that case just set your aimbot to aim for the head and go nuts. Your co players will love you for bailing them out, unless they suspect that you are using unfair means to do so. However, since there is not all that much of a competitive aspect in the L4D2 co-op gameplay, most people will even admire you if they do realize that you are using hacks and many will even want to add you to their steam friends to play with you more often. It is still better to not be an obvious aimbot user though, since there are still some people that will not take kindly to hackers and report you. While cheap aimbots are quite easily detectable for other players, since they do aim instantly (crosshair teleport), any high-quality aimbot will offer you options to slow down and smoothen your aiming and that will make the cheat literally undetectable for other players. – We do recommend that you use this function, since having other think that you are a pro is better than to be viewed as a cheater.
